Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore (UCSC) has introduced UCSC MILAN DIRECT, an International Student Visiting Program that allows students to enroll directly at UCSC for a semester or a year. The program provides access to undergraduate courses taught in English (see program curriculum) as well as the entire undergraduate academic offerings taught in Italian. For the first time in Italy, international study abroad students may enroll directly in an Italian university and receive their education in English directly from UCSC. Support services in English will also be available to all enrolled international students.
All UCSC MILAN DIRECT courses in English are 44 contact hours per semester and are worth 3 US credits. A student may enroll in a minimum of four courses per semester. Each UCSC MILAN DIRECT course has a limit of 40 enrolled students. Students with appropriate Italian language proficiency may register for UCSC courses taught in Italian, which are an average of 30 contact hours per semester.
